Nova is operated by Free Animal Music LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Nova AI assistant at talktonova.com.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your conversations to train AI models without your explicit consent.
Nova uses the following third-party services that may process your data:
When you connect your Google account, Nova requests access to your Google Calendar and Gmail so it can check your availability, create and manage appointments, and read or send email at your explicit request. You are never required to connect Google — Nova’s phone booking works without it.
How your Google data is stored. Your Google refresh token is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and is only ever decrypted on our server to obtain a short-lived access token. We do not store raw Gmail or Calendar API responses.
What is retained. Where Nova discusses this information with you, that conversation is retained in your own private conversation history and daily summaries so Nova can maintain continuity between sessions. This is always scoped to your account, is never shared with or visible to other users, and is never used to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Limited Use. Nova’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Revoking access. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your Nova dashboard, or revoke access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting deletes the stored refresh token from our systems.
If you book an appointment by calling a Nova booking phone line, you consent to receive SMS text messages from us related to that booking. Our text messaging program works as follows:
We retain your conversation history and memories for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, your data is removed within 30 days.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data including encrypted authentication (Supabase), HTTPS for all connections, and access controls on our servers. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Nova is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately.
Nova is operated from the United States. If you access Nova from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. By using Nova, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of Nova after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
