Nova is operated by Free Animal Music LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Nova AI assistant at talktonova.com.

3. How We Use Your Data

To personalize your AI assistant experience
To process payments and manage subscriptions

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your conversations to train AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Third-Party Services

Nova uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

OpenAI — your messages are sent to OpenAI's API to generate responses. Subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
Google — if you connect Google Calendar or Gmail, your data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
ElevenLabs — text is sent to ElevenLabs for voice synthesis. Subject to ElevenLabs' Privacy Policy.
Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Supabase — authentication and user management.

5. Data Retention

We retain your conversation history and memories for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, your data is removed within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
Object to or restrict how we process your data
Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data including encrypted authentication (Supabase), HTTPS for all connections, and access controls on our servers. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Nova is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately.

9. International Users

Nova is operated from the United States. If you access Nova from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. By using Nova, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of Nova after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
